Trish: When I was growing up, my mother was an elementary school librarian. As her kid, of course I worked in the library, restacking books, repairing books, checking them in and out, decorating the library, and so on. One thing I especially loved as I got older was reading the book review magazines. That’s why being reviewed in Kirkus with a “Get it!” verdict was so meaningful to me.
