Everyone has a Story

Welcome to FOUND with Trish & Sherri!

We’re a community built around the stories that shape who we are, where we come from, and how we find our place in the world.

What began as two adoptees searching for their biological families has grown into something much bigger. FOUND is a place for honest conversations, unexpected discoveries, meaningful connections, and stories from every perspective.

There’s more than one way to be part of FOUND.

FOUND Podcast — Real people. Real experiences. Unscripted conversations about family, identity, adoption, DNA discoveries, and the unexpected turns life takes.

FOUND Book Club — A community of readers exploring memoirs, family histories, identity, and the stories that connect us. Coming early 2027.

FOUND Story Studio — Our subscription-based writing community designed to help you turn your memories and experiences into a story you can write, preserve, and even publish. In development.

Our Books — It started with FOUND: Two Adoptees Search for Their Birth Families. Now we’re working on its prequel, LOST, sharing the stories of birth mothers and the experiences behind their decisions.

Whether you’re here to listen, read, write, share, or simply understand another perspective, there’s a place for you.

Everybody has a story. What’s yours?

About Sherri

Podcaster, Author, Teacher, Musician, Mom

Sherri Craig-Evans is a lifelong educator, musician, author, podcaster, and adoptee. She has spent more than three decades teaching music, first in elementary classrooms and later as a high school piano teacher, while also teaching private piano students throughout her career.

Adopted at birth, Sherri began searching for her biological family as an adult. In 2017, at age 48, that search led her to her birth mother, biological father, and nine siblings—and ultimately became part of the story behind Found: Adopted Friends Search for Their Birth Families, which she co-authored with her childhood friend and fellow adoptee, Trish.

Today, Sherri and Trish continue those conversations as co-hosts of Found with Trish & Sherri, where guests share personal stories about adoption, DNA discoveries, family, reunion, identity, and the unexpected ways people find where—and with whom—they belong.

Sherri lives in Central Florida with her husband. She is the mother of four and a grandmother, and when she isn’t teaching, podcasting, or making music, she’s usually happiest somewhere near the water reading a book.
