How we got here

Growing up, we had each other to talk to about the questions, feelings, and dreams that our adoptions brought us. Now adults with families of our own – birth and adopted – we decided to search for our own birth parents. Together we navigated online testing, DNA detectives, deciphering results, finding online support groups, uncertainty, acceptance, rejection, building relationships, and growing our knowledge and ideas surrounding adoption and finding family. We wrote a book about our experience, then started a podcast to help others share their own experiences. We hope you’ll join us!
